In summer, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, and fishing are popular activities. Golf is available two miles away, and tennis facilities are also nearby. Excellent downhill skiing and snowboarding are as close as three blocks from the resort. Other area winter recreation options include cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, and tobogganing.
